Forward Counseling offers family and individual counseling in the Mid-South. Forward Counseling can assist with taking care of the emotional needs of your family during divorce, adoption or loss. Their services are often covered by insurance, are available in-person in offices across town for clients’ convenience. Sessions are also available remotely via teletherapy, which are great for busy schedules and careers that keep us on the road. Their offices offer appointments from 9am-9pm seven (7) days a week to conveniently serve the busy schedules of their clients. In addition to traditional talk therapy, they offer specialty groups that may be of interest, and alternative modalities like art or music therapy and mindfulness sessions for stress reduction.
We strongly support The Women’s Advocacy Center. Led by Romona Jackson, their mission is to empower and support survivors of domestic abuse in East Shelby County. They do this by educating survivors on ways to gain economic independence and form healthy relationships while stabilizing their families and strengthening their faith.
