Allison Adair, Paralegal
Allison Adair was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from Southwest Tennessee Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies. Her path into the legal field began as a court runner for a Memphis litigation firm, where she learned the courthouse from the ground up filing pleadings and serving subpoenas across Shelby County. Allison chose this work out of a desire to help others and make a difference in her community.
Allison brings more than seven years of family law paralegal experience to Gill Family Law. She drafts pleadings, discovery, and marital dissolution agreements for attorney review, coordinates court reporters and service of process, prepares financial affidavits and marital balance sheets, and sits second chair alongside attorneys at depositions and hearings in various local courts. Clients will know Allison as a steady point of contact who keeps them informed on where their case stands and what comes next.
Outside the office, Allison stays close to the community she grew up in. She has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Memphis Humane Society, Wolf River Conservancy, and Shelby Farms Park, supported events like Youth Villages Soup Sunday and the Methodist Health Fair, and can often be found at local races including the St. Jude Memphis Marathon and the Cooper Young 4 Miler.
